A collaboration with Vishnu Vardhani Rajan in production with Pixelache Collective. REentering Bodies LAB is an experimental/experiential practice-based research that shifts the focus towards the biographic body-psyche field as a complex network whose dynamics affect/are affected by our collective ecologies and dialogues. By exploring relational patterns and constructed behaviours (of people) from the corporeal perspective, the REentering Bodies LAB aims to be an affirmative creative exploration of how our bodies enter into dialogue, first with themselves and thereby with others. Starting from a premise of a body’s architecture as a metaphor for larger agencies, in constant mediation with both its functional and dysfunctional habits, the LAB aims to discover and re-wire through moving and sharing insights, leaning on introspective and performative methods to address our predominances and tendencies. Leaning on various practical and reflective tools to bring bodies in dialogue, the LAB explored: Thinking through the moving body / in introspection / with intentionality / in moving scores; stimulation of maximum perception through body-focused experiences; acknowledging ‘presence’ as a tool to render visible elements at play in existing patterns, otherwise unattended; acknowledging the biographic body inevitably linked to collective dialogues; carrying-off scores formulated by philosophers and choreographers, in ex. Erin Manning; engaging actively in Signaling theory to work with embodied anti-racism. Research residency at Tuo-Tuo, Joutsa, 2021
