INTIMATIONS and / and / and

When working on the clay performances for THE OUTLINES (2020), I installed long stretches of raw fabric (4 x 5 m) to cover my floor and collected traces and words of what I encountered when covered in clay. In 2021, I continued working on the fabrics with acrylics and developed a series of soft sculptures with a text for each 'portrait'. The gestures of threading through the material, folding it and shaping it were the continuation of my reappropriation process as a woman; opening a dialogue between what shaped my biographic body was transformative. The writing process for each sculpture was done in post-introspection mode to connect with other narratives than my usual ones.
