I am a Belgian-born contemporary dancer, visual artist, and performer, currently finishing my training in Perceptual Pedagogy / Danis Bois Therapy.
I am based in Helsinki, Finland since 2006 where I work across performative, visual, and pedagogical practices.
My artistic language is informed by a professional background in contemporary dance which carved a certain resilience to being shaped and reformatted continuously. This malleability and porosity co-exist in me with an obsession to transcend rigid accumulated patterns of behavior inherited along the way. I am interested in what I/we are when released from the constructed patterns in us.
Dance, performing, writing, sculpting, painting, and dialoguing are a way to think differently and reembody slightly differently and see them from elsewhere in me.
I work in dance, theater, film, tv, art, and psycho-somatic pedagogy.
